Tried out the rice cooker I managed to
butt dial accidentally order on Amazon. As much as I dislike kitchen gadgetry, it made a lovely test batch of Jasmine rice. Without burning propane for twenty minutes, heating up the kitchen,or risking a scorched bottom when distracted by a sudden series of calls from friends and family.
Have resisted the uni-tasker that is a rice cooker until now and may have to eat some crow. I’ll take my dose in the form of an Old Crow sour, easy on the simple syrup, extra egg white, served with ice.
But I just noticed that the Black Keys make for some great listening while reloading.

A 155 grain lead semi-wadcutter clocking 1,036 FPS over some HS-6 is a fun load. Throaty muzzle blast and lightish recoil. Need to try these in a buddy’s comped Tanfo since the powder should have plenty of gas to run the porting.
