Loading is unusual with the bullet being placed in the chamber and the rear of the case resting on the extractor to be fed into battery by the bolt. The striker has to be manually cocked with the knob on the rear of the bolt. The extractor and ejector are spring-loaded and one piece that pop into action at the end of the bolt throw. Even odds the brass tumbles back into the loading port rather than clear the action. Trigger is not good at all but serviceable and hitting reactive targets of opportunity out to fifty yards is no problem. The safety is Mauser-ish and can only be engaged after cocking the striker.
Bugger is fun on a bun.
And I also picked up another gun when paying this one off. It’s a wonder my wife sticks around.
