I never reviewed my Troy fixed rear sight (that I do like quite a bit) and I should before I do up my red dot post. Because it shit itself during the first range trip and I had to put it back together. Should help with perspective.

Wait, which one broke first?
Just got the Primary Arms micro dot, the fixed rear didn’t break but did fall apart with no adjustment from the box, and my Aimpoint has been chugging for a couple years with no complaints beyond “waaaaaaaaah optics make my gun heavier than no optics.” And my friend’s old style PA micro never gave him any bother despite mild abuse and regular neglect.
Ah, that’s what I thought, but wanted to make sure your new toy didn’t immediately break.
If it does that, I will immediately send Primary Arms an e-mail demanding replacement because their refusal to draw The Duke, peace be upon him, hexed the optic and angered Vulcan.
I do miss my Vz. 58 and the Eastern doctrine of, “Here is gun. It has sights. Make it work and stop whining.”
As my uncle the mechanic always says, “if it don’t got it it can’t break.”
I like this guy more and more.
He drives a studebaker.
My hero *swoons*
