My Wife Is Too Good for Me

I had money set aside for a spiffy set of Skinner sights for my Henry and approval to save for a nice concert ukulele after Christmas settles. As life tends to go, I found a great deal on an even better (and completely different than the one I had planned, not even the same wood in the top) ukulele and she told me to fold the sight fund in to cover part and jump on it. Hip!

Looks like one of the sisters in The Vespers plays the same uke:

Nerds

Bluesun is getting a puppy and, well, it led to me finding this:

I don’t know if it is beautiful or I should bleach my eyes.

Bachelor Night

Wife is out of town, kids are at a sleepover. I think I am doing this bachelor thing right with the whisky, alternating ukulele and trumpet, pipe stuffed with a nice English blend, Atomic Basie on the stereo, and rousing game of Open TTD.

The sweeping, dishes, and laundry I am running don’t seem to be keeping with the spirit, however.

And no, I am not having a shower-beer to make up for the housework.
