Not much to see here today. I have to re-stock my pack, pick up the paddles for my kayak, help a friend mount his new reloading press and show hom the ropes, try out some 16 gauge reloads in my other 16 gauge, and go to work.

I’ll be trying out the new kayak sometime this week.
The wind is getting steady, the road is washed out in either direction from my house, my parents are almost underwater, and my mile-long neighborhood is an island.
I have enough single-malt, beans, tobacco, water, 40 S&W, and gin to make it through.

“Do you cheat on your wife?” The abrupt question from one of the ladies to my side shatters my break-time zen.
“…Well…THAT came straight out of left field…” I answer.
“Heh, yup, but DO YOU?”
“No, look at him, he doesn’t…Not that he would tell you if he did.” Answers the other lady.
I stand up and go back to work early.
