Tim Wise, Your Asshole Of The Day

The People’s Magistrate Of Racial Progressive Equality, Tim Wise, has a new article about the Tea Party.

No, I wouldn’t be concerned, or worried even. I would see a group of people taking the safety of themselves and their families seriously. I would see patriots.

I hate the Klan. I don’t piss myself when they gather. As long as they aren’t lynching  someone in the middle of a speech, I don’t give a fuck what they do.

I hate the Black Panthers. As long as they leave my family the fuck alone, I don’t care what they do.

But, evedently, I’m wrong. I am a racist bastard. A dude with a college degree said so.

So here goes: I’m sorry I’m white.

Oh, wait, no I’m not. I am sorry that Tim Wise tries to speak for me.

Une Petite Poème Pour Vous

The Arrow And The Song

I shot an arrow into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For, so swiftly it flew, the sight
Could not follow it in its flight.

I breathed a song into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For who has sight so keen and strong,
That it can follow the flight of song?

Long, long afterward, in an oak
I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end,
I found again in the heart of a friend.

– Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

P.S. Is poème masculine or feminine? It’s been a while, I can’t remember.

Want Some Cheese With That Whine?

Evedently, if a farmer can’t turn a profit, it is Big Brother’s job to make up the difference to him.

I bet that a parade of tractors down the streets will make those politicians quake in their polished leather shoes. Yup spend the money you don’t have in a tractor you don’t own to attend a protest that you need more money. From the taxpayers. Who already buy your damn grain. Which is already taxed. Makes sense to me.

Heh, almost said that with a straight face.

Maybe their grain is so cheap because there is so much of it. If the subsidies get cut, then some farmers will go out of business. Supply will then go down. Prices of produce will go up. The surviving farmers will be secure, tax burdens for others will drop to offset the new price of food now that the money doesn’t go to subsidies.

Sure, a bunch of farmers will now be unemployed, but their jobs weren’t sustainable to begin with. It may sound cruel, but it is true. They can now get jobs doing something else. Run equipment for consturction firms, get involved in distributing the other farmers’ crops, bus tables. Yeah, they will probably get shit jobs, but they already had one. It is time for them to work up to something sustainable. Sad, mean, but necessary.

Hey, I got to use the word “sustainable” in a way that will make hippies want to hurl certified organic canine feces at my door.

Two Questions of the Day

Why is it that the Brits put this on their front page, but not us?

Also, what do you think the American press reaction would be if pig-fucker Hagan was white, or not a Moslem?

I bet they would be screaming from the rooftops for a month. He would also be called a Tea-bagger just because they could get away with it.
